Job summary

Durham District School Board is seeking a Lunchroom Supervisor to oversee students during the lunch hour. You will work under the Principal and supervise students on school grounds to ensure safety and positive conduct.

Responsibilities include helping with lunchroom setup and cleanup, supervising disposal of waste, and reporting disciplinary issues as directed by the Principal. You will contribute to a respectful, inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities

• Lunchroom Supervisors support students in various classroom settings to provide lunch break supervision on a daily or supply basis.
• Supervising the setting-up and removal of lunch room equipment.
• Supervising the disposal of lunch refuse in suitable containers and the general cleaning of the lunch room areas.
• Dealing with discipline problems in a manner prescribed by the Principal and reporting significant disciplinary actions to the Principal or his/her designate.
• Carrying out such noon hour supervision duties as the Principal may assign.
