Job summary

Park Place Seniors Living in Grande Prairie is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to support the Support Services Manager. Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare or senior living environment preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures (IPAC) and WHMIS.
• Commitment to resident dignity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in Park Place Home.
• Clean Residents’ rooms, bathrooms, staff rooms, offices and other areas as assigned.
• Follow Park Place policies related to infection prevention and quality improvement.
• Treat Residents with dignity and courtesy; demonstrate a caring attitude.
• Support a culture of safety in daily activities.

As a valued interdisciplinary team member, the Housekeeping Aide, under the direction of the Support Services Manager

• general cleaning duties in the Park Place Home,
• including the cleaning of Residents’ rooms, bathrooms, staff rooms, offices and other areas as assigned.
• Follows all relevant Park Place policies including infection prevention and control, WHMIS and quality improvement.
• Treats Residents with dignity and demonstrates an attitude of caring.
• The Housekeeping Aide ensures a commitment to Resident safety and to our “culture of safety” as per Park Place Strategic Directions.
