Job summary

Park Place Seniors Living in Grande Prairie is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to perform general cleaning duties in the Park Place Home, including residents' rooms, bathrooms, staff rooms, offices and other areas as assigned.

Under the direction of the Support Services Manager, you will follow all Park Place policies on infection prevention and control and WHMIS, always treating Residents with dignity and care while upholding a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within care/home settings preferred.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and infection control practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean Residents' rooms, bathrooms, staff rooms and offices as assigned.
• Follow Park Place infection prevention policies and WHMIS.
• Contribute to safety culture and quality improvements.

As a valued interdisciplinary team member, the Housekeeping Aide, under the direction of the Support Services Manager

• general cleaning duties in the Park Place Home,
• including the cleaning of Residents’ rooms, bathrooms, staff rooms, offices and other areas as assigned.
• Follows all relevant Park Place policies including infection prevention and control, WHMIS and quality improvement.
• Treats Residents with dignity and demonstrates an attitude of caring.
• The Housekeeping Aide ensures a commitment to Resident safety and to our “culture of safety” as per Park Place Strategic Directions.
