The North Vancouver School District is seeking a Casual Elementary School Assistant to provide general clerical and supervision support in our elementary schools. You will assist in offices, libraries or classrooms and help maintain a safe, orderly learning environment.
Candidates should have a secondary school completion (12th grade) with basic first aid and familiarity with keyboarding; six months of related experience is preferred.

This is general clerical and supervision work providing support services in an elementary school. An employee of this class provides general office, library and/or classroom assistance. Work performance is reviewed and evaluated by an administrator in terms of effective services rendered to the school.
Completion of the 12th grade or equivalent, plus basic first aid, including courses in keyboarding and micro-computer and software applications. Six months related experience, including clerical work and working with children, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
The rate of pay will be $30.74/hour
