Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Falconridge, AB is seeking casual/supply/substitute Early Childhood Educators to implement our curriculum and support children's development. You will collaborate with families and staff to create a safe, engaging learning environment, assess and discuss progress with parents, attend PD opportunities, and help maintain classroom materials

Qualifications

• ECE certification (Level 1, 2, or 3) or B.Ed./Equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Assessing children's abilities, interests, and needs and discussing progress with parents and staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education - Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent

• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
