Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Lasalle, ON is seeking casual/supply/substitute early childhood support staff to assist in classrooms and help maintain a safe, engaging environment for children. You will interact with youngsters, support activities, and collaborate with families and colleagues to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements include a High School equivalence with Early Childhood certification or being a Registered ECE, plus First Aid/CPR and health checks as per provincial guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent with Early Childhood certification or registered educator.
• Must meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
