Qualifications

• Grade 12, plus two years related experience or equivalent education/training.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform job duties.
• Ability to organize and manage work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis equipment for patient treatment and monitor equipment.
• Clean and disinfect renal equipment following established procedures.
• Provide training to staff on operational best practices.
• Assist in transport and setup of equipment for dialysis sessions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives for the Renal Program.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with program procedures.
• Handle workplace hazardous materials and ensure safe delivery of care.
• Participate in procurement of new renal equipment.
