Job summary

Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) is hiring Casual Store Clerks to provide high quality customer service, handle transactions, and ensure safe, responsible sale of beverage alcohol and cannabis in Nova Scotia stores. The role supports the NSLC mandate and values and requires flexibility in hours as this is a casual position with varying weekly hours.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in French, have POS/cash experience and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 19 years of age.
• Have your Grade 12, GED, or equivalent.
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Be physically able to lift 40lbs.
• Be willing to complete a Criminal Record check upon hire, or provide one issued within the last 6 months.
• Be willing to work shift work, particularly evenings and weekends.
• Be bilingual in predominantly French speaking communities.
• For Eskasoni Location, bilingual in English and Mi'kmaw and member of Eskasoni First Nation.
