Job summary

Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation seeks Casual Store Clerks to deliver high quality customer service, handle transactions, and ensure responsible sale of beverage alcohol and cannabis. Hours vary week to week as a casual position.

Candidates must be 19+, have Grade 12 or GED, be legally eligible to work in Canada, and be able to lift 40lbs. Bilingual in French is required; Eskasoni applicants must be bilingual in English and Mi'kmaw and be a registered Eskasoni member.

Qualifications

• Be at least 19 years of age.
• Have your Grade 12, GED, or equivalent.
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Be physically able to lift 40lbs.
• Be willing to complete a Criminal Record check upon hire, or provide one issued within the last 6 months.
• Be willing to work shift work, particularly evenings and weekends.
• Be bilingual in predominantly French speaking communities.
• Eskasoni location: bilingual in English and Mi'kmaw and be a member of the Eskasoni First Nation.

• Provide high quality customer service and effectively handle transactions.
• Ensure safe and responsible sale of beverage alcohol and cannabis.
• Perform other responsibilities necessary for safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the store.
