Overview

We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for various industries. This position is based in MISSISSAUGA, CANADA.

Responsibilities

The Casthouse Operator is responsible for tasks to produce aluminum products according to quality standards, safety policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, inspecting equipment, preparing molds, operating robotic arms, troubleshooting, conducting quality inspections, skimming molds, stacking ingots, strapping bundles, and operating forklifts. You will ensure safety and quality standards, organize workspaces, and contribute to team success. We offer competitive pay, professional development, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrate initiative, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be safety-conscious around molten aluminum and mobile equipment. Flexibility to work on a 2-week rotational shift covering mornings, nights, and afternoons is required. Proficiency in English communication is essential for safety and teamwork.
