Job summary

Columbia College in Calgary is seeking a Casino Dishwasher to maintain sanitary conditions within the food services department. Under supervision, you will clean dishware, pots, pans and utensils, and ensure kitchen areas are sanitized daily.

The role requires standing, lifting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Training is provided; prior experience is an asset. You must follow OHSA and WHMIS guidelines and work cooperatively with staff.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of foodservice operations.
• Previous experience is an asset; training provided.
• Able to operate dishwashing machines and handle cleaning chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishware, pots, pans and utensils daily.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen areas, walls, floors and equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and wash large items by hand.
• Sweep, mop floors and wipe counters; lift heavy items as needed.
