Job summary

Cache Creek Casino Resort is seeking a friendly bartender to deliver beverage service with accuracy and guest satisfaction. Prepare beverages and assist cocktail servers while maintaining bar cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities include taking orders at the POS, balancing the bar bank at shift start and end, and promoting our resort in a positive manner. A bartending certificate or 3 months' experience plus strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Bartending school certificate or 3 months bartending experience.
• Customer service skills required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Promote and document orders for drinks, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested (required memorization of all available drinks).
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
• Input orders at the point of sale and create a check for each guest/party, including those served by cocktail servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
• Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guests to inquire about satisfaction.
• Present the guests with their check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return.
• Receive payment from guests and make change as needed.
• Verify validity and record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to insure all monies balance.
• Maintain proper and adequate setup of the bar on a daily basis.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas at all times, including removing empty bottles/glasses and cleaning ashtrays.
• Keep the bar area at a high level of sanitation and hygiene at all times.
• Respond to guest inquiries.
• Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction, and information within casino resort guidelines.
• Balance house bank at the beginning and at the end of each shift.
• Retrieve and return back from the employee bank to workstation to insure accountability.
• Check stations before, during and after each shift to ensure proper setup and cleanliness are maintained.
