Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Cashier in Mississauga. The hourly wage is $17.95 and final compensation will reflect skills, experience and internal equity. Canadian work experience is not required.

You will handle cash, verify drawers, issue refunds, and service customers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include processing sales, recording transactions in the register, handling change funds, and promoting products while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer follows overage/shortage standards.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Make recommendations, cross-sell products and introduce new ones.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $17.95 . Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. How you will make an impact:
