Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Front End Associate to guide customers to available registers and support at assisted check-outs. You will execute the GET checkout process with accuracy and timeliness.

As a frontline team member, you’ll demonstrate product knowledge, help customers select the right solutions, and promote services while maintaining a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years Retail or Cash experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and direct them during checkout, ensuring a smooth transaction.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and suggest solutions to meet customer needs.
• Treat customers and colleagues with respect and reduce checkout wait times.

• Using the GET Involved approach to customer service, front-end associate greets each customer, engages them during the transaction and thanks the customer for their business.
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and services and makes appropriate suggestions to meet the customers’ needs.
• Treats all customers and associates in a sincere, appreciative manner and minimizes the time in the checkout line, acknowledging waiting customers.
• Promote and recommends services offered such as Credit, Extended Warranty, Tool Rental, Pro Services, etc.
