Job summary

Cache Creek Casino Resort is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to greet and seat guests, ensure a warm, courteous service experience, and assist with cash handling at the dining area.

You will remember guest names and preferences, maintain eye contact, read and follow simple instructions, and perform basic math for receipts and payments. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and being at least 21 years old. This is an on-site position with physical duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
