We are hiring a Cashier for our store in Ottawa (Orleans, St. Joseph Blvd)!

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level customer service at checkouts
• Accurately record transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline, and self-checkouts
• Replenish merchandise around checkout areas
• Follow health and safety policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas
• Follow loss prevention practices
• Comply with policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule:

Full-time schedule with day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends, 35-40 hours weekly.

Physical Demands:

Stand, walk, bend, lift up to 18 kg, perform repetitive hand motions, reach, and operate equipment including ladders.

Additional Duties:

Keyholder responsibilities include opening and closing the store, ensuring security, stocking, and receiving deliveries.

Universal Accountabilities:

• High customer service standards

• Ensure compliance with policies for Tobacco and Lottery sales
• Follow emergency protocols
