Job summary

Railway Gas & Convenience in Saskatoon, SK is seeking a part-time Cashier to run the till with excellent customer service. The role requires flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and reports to the Store Manager.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and bring prior experience in retail or related fields while demonstrating self-motivation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in retail, wholesale, food service, or fuel industry helpful.
• Self-motivation and strong customer service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous customer service and professionalism.
• Merchandise stocked, rotated, and kept clean during the shift.
• Cash handling and till operations.
• Completes shift duties as assigned by Management.
• Supports store, gas pumps, and car wash appearance.

Wage:$16.00/per hour

Shift(s):Mornings, Evenings and weekends. Must be able to work flexible shifts and holidays

Reports To:Store Manager

The Responsibilities

TheCashieris responsible for:

• Provides prompt, courteous customer service and professionalism;
• Responsible for having merchandise stocked, rotated, and clean during the shift;
• Cash handling;
• Completeshift duties as assigned by Management;
• Supportteam in maintaining the appearance of the Store, Gas Pumps, and Car Wash;

The Requirements

Successful candidate will possess:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required);
• Must be 18 years of age;
• Prior experience in retail and/or wholesale, food service, or fuel industry;
• Self-motivation, work ethic, and desire to deliver excellence in customer service; and
• Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own.

Position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling and/or climbing.
