Job summary

• Knowledge of food safety standards, effective sanitation and housekeeping practices, and the operation of standard kitchen appliances and equipment.
• Ability to learn routines related to assisting in food preparation and service.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, standing and walking for long periods of time.

• Cleans serving cases and counters; checks and validates meal passes by manual or automated methods and monitors trays for quantities in assigned dining areas.
• Keeps records as required.
• May assist in training new cashiers and in lock-up procedures.
