SUMMARY:

• Maintain excellent customer service and checkout area

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers
• Maintain a neat and organized checkout area
• Greet all customers with a warm demeanor
• Scan or accurately enter product data
• Account for cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum points accurately
• Ask for the customer's PC Optimum Card during each transaction

MERCHANDISING:

• Complete proper documentation for receipts and returns
• Maintain designated areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.)

LOSS PREVENTION:

• Follow loss prevention standards
• Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory

GENERAL:

• Present a proper image in accordance with the Uniform Policy and Dress Code
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Follow store policies and procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness and image standards
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Balance teamwork and efficiency
• Organizational skills and neatness
• Efficiency in processing customer transactions

Experience:

• Strong computer and register skills
• Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities
• Detail-oriented
