Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Cashier at our Brighton location in Saskatoon, SK. You will operate a cash register, share product knowledge, and ensure the department is well stocked and presented while delivering a positive customer experience.

Open availability is preferred. A passion for great food and customer service, plus a can-do attitude, will help you thrive in a team that values service, integrity and growth.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and POS system.
• Strong communication and product knowledge.
• Open availability and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and handle customer transactions.
• Share product knowledge with customers.
• Ensure department is stocked and presented.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Use knives and other equipment as required.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
