Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Saskatoon, SK, is hiring a Bakery Clerk at our Kensington location. Open availability is preferred with shifts 5:00am–10:00pm, up to 20 hours per week. You will operate a cash register, share product knowledge, and ensure the department is stocked with fresh items.

The role emphasizes great customer service, a strong work ethic, integrity, and willingness to go the extra mile. Retail experience is a plus as you help customers and teammates daily.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to operate a cash register and assist customers.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Go the Extra Mile for customers and team members.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions.
• Share product knowledge with customers.
• Keep the bakery department stocked and well presented.
• Ensure freshest products are displayed and handle inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary work area.

We are hiring for a Bakery Clerk at our Kensington location in Saskatoon, SK. Open availability is preferred. Shift times are between 5:00am-10:00pm. Up to 20 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
