Job summary

Walmart Canada in Oshawa, ON is seeking a friendly Cashier to provide excellent customer service at the checkout and help protect store assets with careful cash handling and attention to detail.

You will greet customers, process transactions, promote sponsor programs, assist with bagging, and refer complex items to a supervisor as needed. The role starts at CAD 17.75 per hour.

• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
