Job summary

Walmart Canada in Port Perry, ON is hiring a Cashier to provide exceptional customer service at the checkout and protect company assets with careful cash handling and attention to detail.

You will greet customers, process transactions, promote sponsor programs, help bag and load items, and keep the register area safe and organized in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
