Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a friendly Cashier in Carleton Place, ON to provide exemplary customer service at checkout and protect company assets with careful cash handling.

You will greet customers, process transactions, promote card services, assist with bagging, and uphold safe, clean work practices while following store policies.

Minimum age 16; position pays a starting rate of CAD 17.75 per hour. This role is on-site at 450 Mcneely Ave, Carleton Place.

• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
