Job summary

Alberta is seeking a part-time cashier for a retail setting. Qualifications

• Experience handling money and payments in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process money, cheques and card payments.
• Scan items and wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
• Receive payment and provide customer service at the counter.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean checkout area.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries.
• Monitor entrances/exits and request payment proof when needed.
• Assist with pricing and post-transaction duties as required.
• Maintain accuracy during transactions and reconcile at shift end.
• Support team and maintain a positive store environment.
