Independent Grocers Alliance in Bromont, QC is seeking a cashier to join our store team. You will punch or scan merchandise, ensure price accuracy, handle cash and card payments, and balance the cash drawer at shift end.

The role offers daytime and evening shifts with a focus on customer service, teamwork, and reliability. Training is provided and compensation is discussed with selected candidates.

Qualificações

• Experience with cash register systems.
• Willing to learn and adapt to store policies.
• Able to work day or evening shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Punch and/or scan merchandise selected by the customer.
• Ensure accuracy of prices punched/scanned and make cancellations according to established standards.
• Handle cash and media (debit cards, cheques, etc.) and make deposits according to established policies.
• Ensure the balance of the cash register and respect productivity standards (sales/hours, punching/minute).
