Job summary

FAMILY FOODS in Calgary is seeking a part-time cashier to operate the register, process payments, and greet customers. This fast-paced role includes scanning items, totaling payments, and reconciling daily sales while providing friendly service.

The position offers 10–20 hours per week with pay between CAD 15.00 and CAD 16.00 per hour, to be negotiated, at a supermarket/grocery store setting. Must be able to stand long hours and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Scan items and calculate totals.
• Provide customer service and greet customers.
• Stock shelves and maintain checkout area.
• Verify age for lottery/alcohol/tobacco when required.
