Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Cashier at our Summerside location in Edmonton, AB. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked department.

You will greet customers, answer questions, and help them find products while ensuring a safe, sanitary work environment and friendly, efficient service during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Friendly, reliable and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and handle transactions.
• Assist customers with product knowledge and directions.
• Maintain stocked, clean, and well-presented department.
• Ensure freshness and visibility of products on display.
• Provide a positive and friendly customer experience.
• Keep work area clean and safe for coworkers and customers.
• Use a variety of equipment safely, including knives.

We are hiring for a Cashier at our Summerside location in Edmonton, AB.

Open evening and weekend availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.

• Operating a cash register.

• Sharing product knowledge with customers.

• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.

• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.

• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.

• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.

• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.

• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.

• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
