Job summary

RONA in Alberta is seeking a friendly store associate to greet customers, handle transactions, and help keep the sales floor welcoming. You will balance cash at shift end and ensure compliance with company policies while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and ability to handle issues efficiently.

• Cash register experience is an asset.

Your role:

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner
• Process transactions precisely and accurately
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent customer service skillsAbility to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently

• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors
• Experience with cash register systems an asset
