Job summary

RONA is seeking a storefront associate to greet customers, process transactions, and keep checkout areas clean and organized. You will balance cash reports at the end of each shift and uphold loss prevention and health & safety standards.

The role supports store operations within our Camrose location and offers inclusive benefits and opportunities for advancement. Ideal candidates bring excellent customer service, cash handling experience, and attention to detail, with the ability to stand for

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with cash register systems is a plus.
• Able to maintain accuracy in transactions and cash handling.

Your role:

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner
• Process transactions precisely and accurately
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors
• Experience with cash register systems an asset
