McGill University seeks a Case Manager for the Student Wellness Hub in Montreal to support student mental health through coordinated clinical navigation and interprofessional teamwork.
The role focuses on connecting students to campus and community services, managing high‑risk cases, and collaborating with clinicians and stakeholders to ensure access to appropriate levels of care.
The Student Wellness Hub provides a range of health services to McGill students with a focus on awareness, prevention, and early intervention. The Student Wellness Hub has a variety of clinicians that provide one-on-one appointments, therapy groups and other services. Within the Student Wellness Hub, the Healthy Living Annex focuses on health promotion and offers peer support programmes for both the Macdonald and downtown campuses.
Position Summary: The Case Manager works at the Wellness Hub as part of an interprofessional team supporting student health and wellbeing.
They work from a client-centered approach, integrating culturally relevant practices and perspectives to support the mental health and well-being of students. Working from a stepped care model they connect students to campus and community services that support their mental health needs.
As a Case Manager, their role is to provide students with mental health support and assist with clinical navigation, such as connecting students with complex needs to appropriate levels of support within the Hub, McGill, and the community. Additionally, they collaborate, support, and liaise with professionals at the Hub and members of the community to help ensure that students with complex mental health needs are connected to necessary services.
Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 4 (fluent) on a scale of 0-4.
