Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Bradford, ON is hiring a Stockperson / Cartpusher to keep carts available, store spaces tidy and provide friendly service. You will collect shopping carts from corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter and return them using approved procedures, while keeping logs up to date.

Be prepared to help customers and associates with carry outs, verify receipts when required, and perform basic cleaning and safety tasks, including PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures.
• Ensure required logs are completed accurately.
• Respond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry outs and verifying receipts for proof of purchase when required.
• Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, while following established guidelines for chemical handling, proper disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment.
• Adhere to safety and emergency protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines.
• Use required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, and follow Company policies to support a clean, safe workplace.
