Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Cornwall, ON is hiring a Stockperson / Cartpusher to collect shopping carts from corrals, parking lot and store perimeter and return them to designated storage areas according to Walmart procedures. This role supports a safe, organized, and welcoming shopping experience for customers.

You will respond to customer and store needs, assist with carry outs and verify receipts when required, and perform cleaning and safety tasks while wearing required PPE.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (heavier items infrequently).
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to designated storage areas following Walmart procedures.
• Ensure required logs are completed accurately.
• Respond to customer and store needs, including assisting with carry outs and carry ins and verifying receipts when required.
• Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance tasks, including restrooms, following safety and chemical handling guidelines.
• Follow safety standards and procedures, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines.
• Wear required PPE such as steel toe footwear and reflective vest, and perform safety sweeps as needed.
