Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Brampton is seeking a Stockperson / Cartpusher to help create a safe, organized, and welcoming shopping experience. You will collect carts from corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter and return them to storage using approved procedures, while keeping logs accurate and up-to-date.

You will support customer service by assisting with carry outs, respond to requests from registers and Customer Service, and help keep facilities and equipment clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures.
• Assist customers with carry outs and carry ins, verify receipts when required, and respond promptly to requests from registers and Customer Service.
• Maintain clean facilities and equipment, including restrooms, following safety guidelines and performing required inspections.
• Follow safety standards and procedures, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, to maintain a safe environment.
• Wear required PPE such as steel toe footwear and reflective vest and participate in safety sweeps as needed.
