Job summary

Walmart Canada in Quebec City is seeking a Stockperson / Cart Pusher to help create a safe, organized shopping experience. You will collect shopping carts from corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to storage using approved procedures.

You will assist customers with purchases, respond to store requests, and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks while following PPE guidelines and safety procedures. Shift flexibility includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work varying shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg occasionally.
• Safety protocols and PPE compliance.
• Customer service oriented with a friendly approach.
• Attention to detail in records and equipment inspections.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and return shopping carts from corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter using Walmart-approved procedures.
• Assist customers in bringing purchases to their vehicles or returning items to the store, verifying receipts when required.
• Respond promptly to requests from cash registers and customer service areas.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks including washroom upkeep, following proper chemical handling and disposal guidelines.
• Inspect equipment before use and wear required PPE including steel-toed footwear and a reflective vest.
• Follow all safety and emergency procedures including hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen protocols.
• Maintain energy and focus across varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Manage high-volume cart retrieval and restocking tasks accurately and on time.
