Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp. is seeking a Stockperson / Cartpusher to help create a safe, organized shopping experience. You will collect carts, assist customers, and support store operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include responding to customer and store needs, maintaining facilities, and adhering to safety standards. The role offers shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Collect and return shopping carts from corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter to designated areas using approved procedures.
• Assist customers with carry outs and carry ins and verify receipts as required.
• Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance, including restrooms, following chemical handling guidelines.
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures (hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, bloodborne pathogens).
• Wear PPE such as steel-toed boots and reflective vest and conduct safety sweeps as needed.
• Be adaptable to a variety of shifts to keep store operations smooth.
