Job summary

The College of New Caledonia requires a full-time, sessional instructor to teach the Carpentry Program on the Prince George Campus. This role also involves providing essential skills support to students to ensure competencies are met and sustained throughout the extended program duration.

Qualified candidates will hold an Interprovincial Trades Qualification in Carpentry and have five years of journeyperson experience; PIDP and online teaching experience are pluses.

Qualifications

• Interprovincial trades qualification in Carpentry is required.
• Five years of journeyperson carpentry experience.
• PIDP would be considered an asset and teaching/supervisory experience preferred.
• Online instruction will be an asset and candidate should engage students individually.
• Promote professional conduct and contribute to college-wide goals.
