Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpentry Foreman located in Toronto, ON. The Carpentry Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of carpentry workers on construction projects. Daily tasks will include planning, organizing, and directing the work to ensure project completion in a timely and cost-effective manner. The foreman will also handle heavy equipment operations as necessary, perform maintenance tasks, and communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure quality workmanship and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Supervisory Skills and Communication skills
• Well trained in safety protocols including but not limited to

OHS for Managers and Supervisors - the “Competent Person” Course

• Proficiency in Carpentry and Maintenance tasks
• Experience with Heavy Equipment operations
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to interpret blueprints and plans
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Experience in construction or related field is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are advantageous
