Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Carpenter to perform repairs and alterations to building structures at South Shore Regional Hospital. The role includes millwork, walls, ceilings and doors, with in-house renovations as needed, and training for lock-system cores.
The successful candidate will have a Grade 12, a Journeyperson Certificate or Red Seal in Carpentry, at least two years of experience, and the ability to lift 40 lbs.

Reporting to the Manager,Facilities Management and Support, the Carpenter is responsible for completing repairs/alterations to building structures, i.e. millwork, walls, ceilings, doors etc., and may include cutting keys, building cores for our lock system (training will be provided).The incumbent is also responsible for in-house renovations and additions, as required. This work must be done in accordance with all codes and Provincial Acts as with all pertinent policies and procedures.

$31.55 - $37.31 hourly
