Organization:

Medical Carpentry

Job Summary:

Works under supervision of the Manager or Lead Carpenter, performing tasks based on written and verbal instructions, sketches, or plans. Responsibilities include building, installing, maintaining, and repairing structures and fixtures such as ceilings, concrete, masonry, doors, hardware, drywall, flooring, millwork, roofs, tile, shop equipment, and walls. Performs structural remodeling, construction, and demolition. Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all shop work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Respond appropriately to fire alarm activities related to the Carpentry Shop.
  • Follow all Medical Center Policies and Procedures.
  • Comply with local and national codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Participate in Medical Center safety alerts as needed.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Complete Preventive Maintenance Work Requests timely.
  • Handle Trouble Call and Work Order Work Requests efficiently.
  • Assist with estimate requests, material, and manpower evaluations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience

Education: High School Diploma or GED
