Job summary

Western Glass is seeking a Shop Carpenter or Carpenter Apprentice to join our team in Corner Brook. You will work with our shop crew to measure, cut, and assemble wood and aluminum components for custom glass installations.

Whether you have carpentry experience or are looking to develop your skills, you’ll contribute to accurate builds, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and grow within an established local company.

Qualifications

• Some carpentry experience or willingness to learn is required.
• Must be able to take accurate measurements using common carpentry tools.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and aluminum components for glass and installation projects.
• Using carpentry tools and shop equipment to build and prepare custom pieces.
• Following measurements and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Western Glass is looking for a Shop Carpenter or Carpenter Apprentice to join our team!

We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable using carpentry tools, and has a good eye for detail. Whether you have previous carpentry experience or are looking to develop your skills, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and aluminum components for custom glass and installation projects.
• Using carpentry tools and shop equipment to build and prepare custom pieces.
• Following measurements and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Working alongside our shop team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For
