Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our on-site construction teams. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and help build foundations, floors, walls and roof systems.

You will work under a site lead framer, maintain a clean work area and follow Manitoba health and safety regulations. This full-time, in-person position requires 1 year to less than 2 years of construction experience and education as described.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Work under the direction of the sites lead framers. Maintain a clean, organized job site and adhere to Manitoba workplace health and safety regulations.
