Work Conditions:

  • 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift, 10-hour work days
  • Camp-based accommodation provided
  • Travel allowance provided from approved locations
  • Working at heights
  • Primarily outdoors in various weather conditions

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Understand industrial concrete forming and engineered forming systems to build concrete forms accurately
  • Interpret drawings to prepare layouts, select materials, plan sequences, and measure/mark materials to prevent errors
  • Check completed units for levelness, squareness, plumbness, size, shape, and placement
  • Assist with basic concrete work as needed
  • Communicate effectively and work well in a team, capable of working independently

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ related project experience
  • Journeyperson or Apprentice Carpenter ticket from a recognized provincial authority
  • Non-ticketed carpenters require 4+ years relevant industrial carpentry experience
  • Experience with grout and concrete forms or similar
  • Experience in industrial projects
  • Ability to work independently
  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing and criminal record check
