Job summary

Woodmac Inc. in Mississauga, ON is seeking a self-motivated Carpenter with good interpersonal skills to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. You will read blueprints, prepare layouts, and perform woodwork tasks in line with building codes.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience, be fluent in English, and be able to start as soon as possible. This position offers permanent employment in a local Mississauga setting.

Qualifications

• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• The candidate must be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
