Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Shop Carpenter for our client in Delta, BC. This permanent onsite role involves building and assembling custom container-based structures at our Delta shop.

You will read shop drawings, measure and lay out parts, and work with the production team to meet quality targets. Lean/5S exposure is a plus; applicants should be reliable and able to work independently or with a team. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years carpentry experience (preferred manufacturing carpentry).
• Experience with measuring, layout, framing, finishing, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Reliable with strong work ethic.

Aerotek is hiring a Shop Carpenter for our client located in Delta, BC

Position: Carpenter

Location: Delta, BC

Pay: $32.00-$36.00/hour based on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week Monday to Friday 7:00am start

Job Description

• Perform carpentry, framing, finishing, installation, and assembly on custom container-based structures.
• Measure, layout, cut, fit, fasten, and assemble components.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
• Work with production team to meet quality and production targets.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Must Haves

• 3+ years of carpentry experience (preferred manufacturing carpentry)
• Experience with measuring, layout, framing, finishing, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
