About Us

Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.

Position and Responsibilities

  • Performing carpentry and related building maintenance tasks
  • Installation, maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment and other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

  • Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson carpenter ticket
  • Minimum five years of carpentry experience in an industrial or mining environment
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent safety record
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:

  • Masonry skills
  • Scaffolder proficiency certification
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Maintenance experience
  • First Aid

Conditions of Employment:

  • Pre-employment substance test

Safety Sensitive Site

This position is eligible for the employee referral bonus.

Rate per hour: 62.75
