Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled tradesperson in Burnaby, BC, to perform carpentry duties across residential projects. You will read blueprints, prepare layouts, cut and assemble wood and wood substitutes, and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.

The role includes building foundations, erecting walls and roof systems, and maintaining/renovating wooden structures in various facilities. English is the working language; permanent, full-time position available.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
