The University of Manitoba is looking for a Caretaking Supervisor, this position will be responsible for overseeing custodial and facility services within an assigned campus zone, ensuring the effective delivery of cleaning, maintenance support, and event set-ups. The role provides operational leadership for facilities including the Joyce Fromson Swimming Pool, Wayne Fleming Arena, Max Bell Centre, Investors Group Athletic Centre, Active Living Centre, and University Stadium. Reporting to the Manager, the Supervisor assists with departmental planning, supervises custodial staff, coordinates service delivery with campus stakeholders, supports recruitment and performance management activities, manages supplies and equipment procurement, and responds to facility-related emergencies as required. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills in a dynamic campus environment.
