Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
  1. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, assisting with activities of daily living and attending to individual care needs.
  2. Notify management of changes in residents’ conditions and recommend adjustments in care and services.
  3. Assist residents in life skills and other enriching activities as indicated on their profiles.
  4. Integrate multi-sensory experiences into residents’ daily routines.
  5. Participate in developing and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
  6. Maintain awareness of residents’ locations and well-being during shifts.
  7. Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations, and promote risk management.
  8. Respond to dining needs while maintaining Sunrise hospitality standards.
  9. Encourage and assist residents in life skills and activities as per ISP.
  10. Uphold Sunrise’s Principles of Service in serving residents and guests.
Qualifications:
  1. Passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  2. Positive attitude, flexibility, and team-oriented mindset.
  3. High School diploma/GED; certifications as required by state regulations.
  4. Must be at least 18 years old.
  5. Previous experience with seniors preferred.
  6. Ability to make decisions in residents’ best interests.
  7. Effective communication skills.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  9. Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
