Job summary

ComForCare in Richmond Hill is seeking a caregiver for an elderly female patient who prefers a same-sex caregiver and requires personal care services.

You will assist with daily activities, personal care, meal planning and household tasks. The position offers a 2 days per week schedule (Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 am–11:00 am), totaling 6 hours weekly, with potential extension to 3–4 days. Pay is $20 per hour, with 4% vacation pay, flexible schedule, and training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Access to reliable transportation required.
• Certified PSW or relevant caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide personal care assistance.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.

A patient’s family is seeking a caregiver for a female patient who has expressed a preference for a same-sex caregiver for personal care services. Patient is an elderly lady who suffers from mild dementia.
